Welcome to Moon Bound, an original supernatural RPG set in the fictional town of Thunder Cove, Washington.

Its early winter 2013, and the snow is already getting deep in the small coastal town of Thunder Cove. Things in this picturesque tourist town aren't exactly what they seem. Nothing in the world is what it seemed anymore, its as if the closer the world came to that fateful day on the Mayan calendar, the more the supernatural creatures of the world woke up and made their presence known. The fae are walking among us now, as are the old spirit guides and warriors of old Native American lore. The werewolf, vampire, and skinwalker populations have all taken a sudden rise, and the witches of old who had thought their powers lost to them have suddenly found themselves able to do magic again. The world hasn't ended, but its changing. Some say for the better, some say for the worst. In Thunder Cove, the population is split in half knowing that their town is a supernatural hot spot can make things difficult-- especially when the normal members of the population are part of the food chain.

We regret to inform our members that as of now our doors have closed. We had a good run for a little while but due to real life for the admins, things didn't work out for the site. We are in the process of trying to clean up things and do a revamp, so for those of you who are interested in coming back, please be patient.

After what felt like a lifetime of upheaval and change it seemed like things were settling, and to some degree even returning to normal. Whatever normal was in an ever-changing world. Frankly "normal" was a foreign and sometimes dangerous concept. AJ Dallas had learned that lesson all too well when he was fifteen. That's when the pack Alpha was challenged by a lone wolf in fell in battle picking the entire band into a state of upheaval none had experienced before. Losing his mother after a flare of his father's temper, or his sister after it was proven maybe Thunder Cove wasn't the safest place for her had been the most traumatic things to happen in AJ's life up to that point and to some degree even they paled in comparison. Not only did his beloved Alpha and secondary father figure lose his life, which put the pack in a very bad place, but it also forced his best friend from his life.

When Brayden left at the age of fifteen AJ had every intention of following him. He didn't want to leave his father but his friend needed him more, that much had been clear in his eyes when he made a move against the wolf who slaughtered his father. If AJ hadn't been at his side at that moment, if Damian and the pack Beta hadn't been as close as they were to offer their aid, it was a reasonable assumption that Brayden would have died within moments his father. That was something that AJ knew his own father would understand, as well. Unfortunately before he could follow through with his plan to leave the new Alpha compelled the young wolf to stay. The years that followed had been difficult but helped provide AJ with two distinct styles of leadership, one he would come to adopt for himself and the another a perfect example of how not to run a pack. It was an important lesson for one who would someday follow in his father's footsteps as Alpha.

That was something that he owed to Brayden, who returned to avenge his own father. In doing so he rid the pack of the callous leader and placed the welfare back into the hands of an experienced leader who actually cared. By picking AJ's father he placed his friend in line for the position. Brayden deciding to leave again however placed a difficult decision in his friends hands. Sometimes AJ still questioned the choice he made to stay with the main pack. The pledge he made with his friends was about sticking together no matter what. Damian made no effort to hide his displeasure, which AJ understood however it was not his place to question what decisions he made. The slight bristling going on there was neither here nor there as far as AJ was concerned. The situation was what it was and if it should change then he would reevaluate his decision. Of course that was something Damian might want to consider since his changing packs would also change the structure, the hierarchy.

That was a topic that got enough thought and not what AJ wanted to focus on that morning. The day marked the one month anniversary of Payton's return to Thunder Cove and since it happened to be a day that she didn't have classes, he planned a celebration. Her returned was just as big an event as her leaving, only this time it was a shift from darkness to light, something AJ greatly preferred to the alternative. The direction of things finally felt like it was all getting back on the right track so in his mind there was a great deal to celebrate and that would bring with Payton's favorite breakfast - waffles. The strawberries to go with them weren't fresh but it was the thought that counted, right?
