Welcome to Moon Bound, an original supernatural RPG set in the fictional town of Thunder Cove, Washington.
Its early winter 2013, and the snow is already getting deep in the small coastal town of Thunder Cove. Things in this picturesque tourist town aren't exactly what they seem. Nothing in the world is what it seemed anymore, its as if the closer the world came to that fateful day on the Mayan calendar, the more the supernatural creatures of the world woke up and made their presence known. The fae are walking among us now, as are the old spirit guides and warriors of old Native American lore. The werewolf, vampire, and skinwalker populations have all taken a sudden rise, and the witches of old who had thought their powers lost to them have suddenly found themselves able to do magic again. The world hasn't ended, but its changing. Some say for the better, some say for the worst. In Thunder Cove, the population is split in half knowing that their town is a supernatural hot spot can make things difficult-- especially when the normal members of the population are part of the food chain.

Ridgeview Harbor Named after the family who funded the rebuild of it after a storm destroyed it, Ridgeview Harbor provides an abundance of services to the town. From vessel moorage, a fuel dock, and a waste water pump, to boat rentals, and is home to a few bait and tackle shops for locals and tourists to come and get their needed supplies for a day on the water fishing. Thunder Cove The cove that the town was built around and received its namesake from, it is littered with driftwood from nearby forest that seems to guard the broad sandy beach where visitors and locals can enjoy the ever changing moods of the wild Pacific coast. During the spring and fall, whales can be viewed from the beach when they come close to shore during the annual migrations. Thunder Cove offer scenic views, driftwood, tide pools and wildlife for those who enjoy good surf, be sure to bring a wet suit, board or kayak!
Storm Beach A small and secluded beach up to the northern end of Thunder Cove, Storm Beach is home to the young of the two packs that reside in the town. Its a small but peaceful stretch of white sand littered with large pieces of sun bleached driftwood, large boulders, and plenty of shells and small glassy pebbles. Not many of the locals come up this far, and its a nice quiet spot for the Storm Beach pack to enjoy a bonfire or walk for those who need a moment to think.
Olympic National Forest Thunder Cove is surrounded by the thick rainforest like trees that make up the Olympic National Forest. Once past the treeline there are over 200 miles of mountains, trees, meadows, wild rivers that crisscross the land and dangerous dry riverbeds that one might not notice until its too late.
The City The Capital of Washington, Olympia is a regional center for fine arts like most of its neighboring cities and has a rich history. Along with being a city rich in the arts and history, it is also one of the best college towns in the nation for its vibrant downtown and access to outdoor activities despite the fact that the city is practically overrun with vampires.
Residential Areas Like most cities, the capital of Washington has its share of upscale homes and lower income homes as well. No matter the size or state the house is in, all of the homes seem to have an elegant air to them. You can find anything to fit your budget from sprawling manors to smaller one and two bedroom homes here. Subforums: Almundena Manor
