Welcome to Moon Bound, an original supernatural RPG set in the fictional town of Thunder Cove, Washington.

Its early winter 2013, and the snow is already getting deep in the small coastal town of Thunder Cove. Things in this picturesque tourist town aren't exactly what they seem. Nothing in the world is what it seemed anymore, its as if the closer the world came to that fateful day on the Mayan calendar, the more the supernatural creatures of the world woke up and made their presence known. The fae are walking among us now, as are the old spirit guides and warriors of old Native American lore. The werewolf, vampire, and skinwalker populations have all taken a sudden rise, and the witches of old who had thought their powers lost to them have suddenly found themselves able to do magic again. The world hasn't ended, but its changing. Some say for the better, some say for the worst. In Thunder Cove, the population is split in half knowing that their town is a supernatural hot spot can make things difficult-- especially when the normal members of the population are part of the food chain.

"What are we doing outhere, Nico?"
"Yes, but I know far better."
The Cat Sidhe laughed, continuing down the well worn path before her. Sage grudingly followed, a frown on her lips. She had been most irritated when Nico had suddenly shown up, insisting that he had something interesting to show her. She had been having quite the lovely day in Olympia. She had found a new cafe and was settled down reading and drinking a very delious concoction that tasted like something she had once long ago. Though, with the manager being part Fae she wasn't suprised. Sage had been quite annoied when Nico suddenly appeared on her lap, sitting on her book at that!

"What do you want?" she had asked. Nico just grined and flicked his tail.

"I found something quite interesting out in the forest the other day," was all he gave away. Sighing, Sage had slipped her book out from under him and shut it.

"So, I suppose I either come with you now, or you pester me to no end until I do," she had grumbled. Nico just continued to grin, leading her out of the cafe, through her tree, to this forest in Thunder Cove. They had been walking for quite sme time now and still he refused to give her any idea of what exactly he wanted her to see.

Sahe had left her glamored form a couple of minutes ago, enjoying the fact that she could walk around in her Fae form, no cloaking needed. It was very refreshing and conforting. As she walked, her hands ran over the trees softly, thr lwer branches often rustling and brushing her shoulders, curius to who this new Fae was. A couple of minutes later nico stopped, yawning.

"Well?" Sage asked, raising a brow.

"We're here," he said, licking one of his paws. Sage looked around.

"There's nothing here!"

"There will be soon," was all he said.

"And how do you know that?" she snaped, her patience wearing thin.

"Because I'm a cat." With that simple explination, Nico shot her a grin and dissappeared, his grin hovering in place a moment before dissappearing as well. Sage glared at the spot he once was.

"I am going to skin that cat one of these days..." she muttered, looking around the forest with her pupil-less green eyes. She was getting tired of nico's antics. First he had pestered her into following that crying skinwalker, then bating her into going to the bookstore to meet that human. now what was he up to? What sort of creature did he annoy he into meeting this time?

Sweet dreams are made of these
Who am I to disagree?
I travel the world
And the seven seas

A vaugly familiar song played over the bookstore's loud speakers no more than background noice to the Fae's ears. Her hands lightly ran over the spines of the books laid out before her. Her touch was light, whimsical in search. She was in no rush to pick or choose, she had all day and the rest of eternity. The bookstore wasn't very busy. Early monday evenings seemed to inspire no want in many a people. Sage of course found no understanding in this. After all, it was just another day.

She reached up, standing on the tips of her toes to retrieve a book with an interesting title. Devine by Choice, an amusing title for really, who was able to choose such a thing. Turning it over, Sage's otherworldly green eyes flowed over the book's description. It seemed interesting to say the least. With a small smile, Sage tucked a loose strand of brown hair back into her updo and made her way over to some very comfy-looking arm chairs.

Lifting the hem of her light blue skirt off the ground, Sage settled into the chair, tucking her legs under her. She smiled, taking in the store. Yes, it was quite nice, peaceful almost. Bookstores...libraries, these had to be favorites of her's. Humans had gotten it right when they made these places. Little technology and almost an endless sorce of books. Not only that, but it was quiet. Something rare in these modern times.

Settling into her chair, the tasty scent of coffee drifted over to her from the cafe only a few feet over. In no time at all Sage was ordering a cup and handin over her glamored "money". After all, it had been a while since she had indulged in coffee. Yet another thing humans actual did right. A soft smile graced her face as she waited, twirling the ever-escaping strand of hair around her finger. Today was truly turning out to be a nice day after all. With that lovely, refreshing rain they had the night before, and the warm sun today. Oh yes, nothing could spoil a day like today, especially when coupled with books and coffee!

Sage was brought out of her thoughts as the cafe worked called her name, handing her the cup with a smile. She thanked him, inhaling not only the wonderful scent of coffee, but of his emotions and creativity too. A young artist it seemed in the prime of his work. Almost as good as coffe. Taking a sip of said coffee, she turned, running straight into someone.

"Oh, I'm sorry," Sage murmered slightly, looking up into the face of the stranger before her.

Humans... Such silly creatures.

Sage sat in her tree, staring out at the park with her pupil-less green eyes. Her lips, a shade darker green than her skin, were turned in a small frown. It was by all standards a beautiful day. Not too hot, not too cold. Parents and their children picnicked and played, most unaware of her sisters and other such Fae. Oh how the parents laughed as their children introduced them to their "imaginary" friends. Sage found it particularly disgusting as a satyr made his way over to a group of young teenagers resting under her tree. It wiggled in anticipation and glee. With a shake of her head, Sage flicked out a hand, a low branch of her tree making a nice slap across the satyr's behind. The fae gave a yelp, glaring in her direction before darting away.

"You seem to be in a nasty mood today."

Sage turned her head, a small smirk playing on her lips. A large cat appeared beside her, all fluff and fat. His dark coat blended in nicely with the shadows her tree cast, only his glowing green eyes and patch of white fur giving him away.

"Coming from you? That's adorable, Nico," Sage replied, tossing her long brown hair over her shoulder. Petals from the flowers in her hair escaped, falling down to rest on the two teenagers below, completely unaware of the Dryad woman and the Cat Sidhe above them. Sage turned her gaze outward once more.

"They're so blissfully...ignorant of what's around them. You'd think after the reveal they'd be far more wary, or at least carry wards. But no. They sit and chatter like stupid squirrels, believing they only have to fear the night," Sage remarked, disgust dripping from her words. Nico simply yawned and flicked his tail.

"Ah yes...but then again, who is sillier? The humans and their ignorance? Or the fae that do nothing but watch?" he asked, a grin playing over his face. She sent him a look, causing him to give a very cat-like laugh. And with that, the cat dissappeared, only his laugh echoing.

"Damn cat," she murmered, turning her gaze back to the humans. Thtee girls were still there, giggling away. So young, so innocent. It was almost sad, but, who could help it? Though the reveal happened not too long ago, many humans somehow remained ignorant to what surrounded them. Was it so very hard to believe in their kind? Were humans not entertained every day by the very stories they create. And while some may be hrrid, inacurate depictions of them, it was these very myths that caused the Fae to continue living.

"Maybe that is why they chose to reveal our presense..."she muttered, still at a loss for an explination. She remembered the day well, when she heard how the Court royals got together with the other supernaturals and in turn, chose to take part in this silly reveal. she remembered how outraged many of the Fae were, and how some...like Aspin...were overjoyed at this fact. But what good had really come to it? Did they wish for the humans to become paniced? Did they wsh for another Salem burning? A sigh escaped the Dyrad's lips as she watched the humans leave her tree. If she had learned one thing from her time watching humans it was this: they do not enjoy losing what superiority they thought they had.

With another shake of her head, Sage dropped gracefully to the ground, slipping into her galmor as she did. She was getting bored of the humans here.
