Welcome to Moon Bound, an original supernatural RPG set in the fictional town of Thunder Cove, Washington.
Its early winter 2013, and the snow is already getting deep in the small coastal town of Thunder Cove. Things in this picturesque tourist town aren't exactly what they seem. Nothing in the world is what it seemed anymore, its as if the closer the world came to that fateful day on the Mayan calendar, the more the supernatural creatures of the world woke up and made their presence known. The fae are walking among us now, as are the old spirit guides and warriors of old Native American lore. The werewolf, vampire, and skinwalker populations have all taken a sudden rise, and the witches of old who had thought their powers lost to them have suddenly found themselves able to do magic again. The world hasn't ended, but its changing. Some say for the better, some say for the worst. In Thunder Cove, the population is split in half knowing that their town is a supernatural hot spot can make things difficult-- especially when the normal members of the population are part of the food chain.

Abigail M. Last
23, skinwalker, mischa barton, player
A feline shifter, Abby is a cat in every aspect of the word. She hates getting wet; though mostly that comes in the form of getting caught in the rain, and can be very aloof at times. She's quiet unless she has something that she wants to say, and then she makes it known what she wants. Abby has been described as lazy at times, and even she won't deny it. Nothing makes her happier (aside from something shiny or pampering herself) than to laze around in the sun. Another pleasure of hers is to slip in her feline form and go hunting at night, preferably someplace that she can sneak up on an unsuspecting human or fae if she scents one out and give them a nice little start at seeing a big cat stalking them. Lazy and a little self-centered she might be, but she definitely has a sense of humor... somewhere.
Joshua M. Last
27, skinwalker, steven strait, player
Josh is a ursidaen skinwalker, and is from a long line of skinwalkers on his father's side. Josh is a fun loving guy, though he doesn't get to have as much fun as he'd like to have these days. Josh works two jobs to pay for his father's medical bills while the 'old man' is in the hospital. Josh and his dad had a good relationship and he owes his dad a lot. If it weren't for him stepping in after Josh's mother bailed and teaching him about what he was and could do, Josh figures he would've either been killed by now, or else would be locked up in prison somewhere. Josh hates being inside, and is often found snoozing in the hammock in the back yard (if you can call it that), rather than in his bed inside the house. He blames it on the skinwalker nature and the bear inside of him, but nothing makes this young man happier than being outside and working hard with his hands. Josh is also a big music lover and on every other weekend gets with some of his friends in a ragtag band to perform at different bars around the area.
Kara M. Last
19, skinwalker, Britt Robertson, player
The youngest of a family of four girls and two boys, Kara is only the third skinwalker in the family. An avian skinwalker, Kara enjoys high flying, be it in her avian form or her human form when she's doing gymnastics. Kara was the head cheerleader when she was in high school and has the bubbly personality to go with that. Kara is a light hearted girl who has been fairly sheltered by her family. She is unaware of the other supernatural creatures that live in the area, even though she has heard the rumors her parents don't let her ask too many questions about them or to try to find out more. In fact they want her to stick to her own kind, despite her curiosity about what else is out there. Her parents want her to stay close to Thunder Cove, but Kara wants to get out and explore the world and see what it has to offer her.
Lucas M. Last
30, skinwalker, joseph morgan, player
Lucas is the head bartender at the local hot spot The Wolves Den. Being a canine shifter, he feels fairly comfortable and is easily able to joke around and get along with the wolves that frequent the bar. Not to mention he usually is one of the first to leap over the bar and break up a wolf to human brawl before it gets started. Lucas is a bit of a silver tongued devil which comes in handy whenever he has to break up a potential brawl. Usually he uses his wit and charm to earn his tips and keep things calm in the bar between the supernatural and the humans that enter The Den. On his days off Lucas is eager to learn and is on his second stint of going to college online and getting a new degree. Lucas is an adventurous young man who has traveled the country and has hopes of finding out where his family's skinwalking abilities originated from, even if it means traveling overseas to do so.
Tala M. Last
20, skinwalker, naya rivera, player
One of the rare traditional coyote skinwalkers, Tala was abandoned as a child by her birth parents in Olympia and soon after adopted by the parents she's lived with in Thunder Cove. For most of her life she thought she was normal, until she woke up one night when she was thirteen and she was furry and on four legs. Needless to say the discovery scared the poor girl half to death and she ran away for almost a week where she ran into a fellow skinwalker who helped her with what she was and how to get back to being human. Tala is not at all fine with the fact that she can shift into a coyote from time to time even though she has control over it. She feels that she had it rough enough growing up being adopted, and now being able to change into an animal whenever she wants to? That's just a bit more on her plate than she wants to have.
