Welcome to Moon Bound, an original supernatural RPG set in the fictional town of Thunder Cove, Washington.
Its early winter 2013, and the snow is already getting deep in the small coastal town of Thunder Cove. Things in this picturesque tourist town aren't exactly what they seem. Nothing in the world is what it seemed anymore, its as if the closer the world came to that fateful day on the Mayan calendar, the more the supernatural creatures of the world woke up and made their presence known. The fae are walking among us now, as are the old spirit guides and warriors of old Native American lore. The werewolf, vampire, and skinwalker populations have all taken a sudden rise, and the witches of old who had thought their powers lost to them have suddenly found themselves able to do magic again. The world hasn't ended, but its changing. Some say for the better, some say for the worst. In Thunder Cove, the population is split in half knowing that their town is a supernatural hot spot can make things difficult-- especially when the normal members of the population are part of the food chain.

Payton H. Dallas
22, human, mandy moore, ara
Daughter of the Thunder River Alpha, Payton Dallas was the werewolf that should've been but wasn't. Being a human born to a werewolf, the Beta of the pack at the time no less was not easy. Things weren't made any easier when her mother and father divorced and then after an accident when she was thirteen she left the pack behind believing she would never fit in. Payton is a bright and creative young woman. She's strong and independent, and knows how to stick up for herself. Growing up in a werewolf pack can do that to you. Payton is not afraid of anything and like her brother has a knack for finding trouble; although she does not go looking for it like AJ does. Payton is fiercely loyal to those she calls family and even her friends and is often found defending the werewolves when the topic of them would come up in school, which ultimately made her decide to head back to her hometown of Thunder Cove and rekindle what relationships she could from her childhood days and with her brother and father.
Cody E. Grier
23, human, toby hemingway, alya
Cody was born in Thunder Cove and is one of the few humans that know the town has werewolves in it; and is fine with that. His best friend; or more accurately partner in crime (quite literally) is even a werewolf. The two boys Cody and Trevor have been inseparable for years, and when Trevor went through his first change, their friendship didn't suffer too much. Sure the boys don't always get along, but that's what happens when you put two headstrong and hot headed boys together. Cody is just as rebellious as his friend and both have been coined the town's troublemakers. Cody however wants to be a werewolf like his friend. He thinks that the power and senses that come with it are amazing and doesn't think about the possible downsides of being a wolf. His insistence that his friend or even his friend's alpha turn him has gotten him into quite a few arguments between the two boys that often leads to them not talking for days or even a week or more at a time before they gravitate back to each other. Cody finds the other members of the town too boring to hang out with and usually (and very reluctantly) apologizes for the time being and forgets about being a wolf for a while until the subject is somewhat safe to breach again. Cody unlike Trevor has been arrested a time or two for petty theft and vandalism, and doesn't really care about it. The first was a rush, the second was as he said, to make the town more colorful. All that aside, Cody is really a talented artist and really good friend once you get to know him.
Natasha M. Last
29, human, Ksenia Solo, player
Natasha is what one would call a trophy wife, or at least a trophy fiance. Engaged to the towns only lawyer, Natasha has big plans to be the town socialite. Natasha is from the city and so far isn't too thrilled with the life in Thunder Cove, but she believes that she and her fiance will change things in the town. Or at least she plans to anyway. The town considers itself a tourist spot, so why not make itself more attractive? She's good at reading people and knowing how to get what she wants from them. It comes in handy when she's occupying herself with her favorite past time: gambling. She's really actually good at it, but it's not the exact thing her fiance would rather she do with his hard earned or rather inherited money. Natasha is a very calculating woman, ready to get what she wants from whomever she wants and she doesn't plan on supporting herself ever. After all, she's a trophy bride-to-be, and those are meant to look pretty and aid their husband. Besides, what kind of woman works anyway right?
Brady M. Last
34, human, james franco, player
Brady is a very trusting and kind hearted man, which is why he got into the business of law in the first place. He wanted to protect and stand up for the little guy. Not exactly interested in practicing big city law, Brady came back to his roots after law school to open up a small practice near where he grew up. Now that he's settled down in Thunder Cove he's ready to make a difference in people's lives. Though he's kind hearted, the man knows his stuff. He's extremely intelligent and went to Brown and then to Harvard law. He is engaged to the lovely Natasha, but he has no idea what kind of person she really is. He trusts her and has complete faith in her. Though he really did wish she wouldn't gamble so much of their money and just focus on the upcoming wedding.
Clarissa M. Holtz
22, human, leighton meester, player
Youngest of the Holtz sisters, Clarissa grew up in the shadow of her big sister. Always taking a backseat to the beautiful older girl, though the two were extremely close. Her sisters name did open windows for Clarissa during her high school years however. She was captain of the cheer leading team along with a string of other activities that she spearheaded. If there was one girl in this town that deserved to be "queen bee" it would have been Clarissa. Unfortunately, no matter what she did, it never seemed to compare to the things her sister did and was doing at that time. After graduation, Clarissa went to the University of Washington to get her degree in English. After graduation she returned back to her sleep town to find that things were different, and so was her big sister. Her sister was now a Vampire. Ashamed that she hadn't been there to stop the tragedy, the two are trying to figure out what this new development means for them. Clarissa still harboring feelings of resentment, yet loyalty and pride in her older sister, now mix all that with fear and confusion. You could definitely say that they are complicated. Especially now that their parents have relocated to the Florida Keys.
Caitlin M. Last
24, human, Kate Mara, player
Caitlin is an unusual person, from the time she was a little girl she always was a bit odd. It didn't get really bad until she was a freshman in high school though. It was then that she was really nicknamed the town Kook, as bad as that is for people to call a teenager. It was hard not to think she was a bit nutty. During her freshman year of high school, Caitlin encountered a werewolf changing in the woods during one of the local parties. She wasn't injured, but from that day on she began spouting "it's the end of the world" to anyone that would giver her two seconds to listen. Of course, no one believed her and everyone chalked it up to her just being weird. Now that 2012 has brought the creatures to the surface, you'd think that she'd be chanting "I told you so" to anyone that would listen, but this girl has gone past the scared little freshman to a full blown nut job. Maybe it was the peer pressure, or maybe she really does believe that the world will be ending soon. Either way, Caitlin is the town kook.
Garrett M. Last
23, human, Steve McQueen Jr., player
Coming from a fairly rich family, Garrett was a bit spoiled growing up and was always told what was to be expected of him and what he should do to be as successful as his parents. For the most part he was a fairly obedient son, never causing or getting into trouble and always wanting to please his parents. He is a college friend of Payton's who followed her back to the Thunder Cove area to make sure that she would be alright. He's not as close-minded about the supernatural world as some humans are; like his parents, but he's a bit wary of the fact she's going to be a human around a bunch of werewolves. Not having anything really going for him at the art school they both attended on the east coast, he transferred to a college in Olympia, just to make sure that his best friend at least had someone to talk to and that was normal to talk to if she ever needed it. Not to mention it made his parents stand up and take notice that their son finally was growing a sense of independence and for once in his life was going to do something that he wanted to do for himself. Not something that they told him to do that would be best for him. Garrett is a fun guy who appreciates the arts and finer things in life of course, but he also loves a good time and adrenaline rushes and is a loyal friend to anyone who looks past the rich boy stereotype he's usually lumped into.
Anthony M. Last
43, human, terrence howard, player
Mayor Anthony ---- didn't always have the easiest path no matter what he did. The road to becoming Mayor, and hopefully one day Governor, was a difficult one. He had many obstacles to over come (coming from a poor family and his father not being the most upstanding citizen) and due to the state of the world after 2012, his job is that much more difficult. Anthony has worked hard to get where he is today, and to gain the respect from his peers and the residents of Thunder Cove so that they trust him with their town. Not only does he have to deal with the every day dealings of running a town, but now he has the weight of the impending war that's about to unfold between the dark and light of the supernatural world that surrounds his town. Over the last few months he has been forced to make some stiff changes around the town and yet also keep the peace as best he can. Making friends with both sides (as much as he doesn't want to deal with the vampires) and trying to find a safe middle ground for the citizens of Thunder Cove.
Walker M. Last
34, human, Alexander Skarsgard, player
Paging Doctor Walker! A brilliant physician from Los Angeles wanting to escape the crazy life that he led in that city, Doctor Walker ---- decided he wanted to experience a small simpler life. As much as he loved his family and friends, the hectic pace of Los Angeles was tiring after living there most of his life. Though where he was going to go was the big question. For months this bright young man searched for months before he decided to settle down here in Thunder Cove. One of the only people in town that remains completely clueless about the things that are going on around the town, even though he works close with one of the only medical werewolves around. It wont be long before this man ends up right in the middle of the chaos that he thought he escaped back in California, though this chaos will be an entirely different kind than what he left behind. In an accident, Dr. Walker will be bitten and eventually join the supernatural world as a werewolf, but in the mean time he remains blissfully unaware of what's going on. We think he's safer that way anyway!
Bethany M. Last
21, human, Malese Jow, player
The term curiosity killed the cat, has nothing on this hometown girl next door. This sweet, quiet, and shy girl has spent too many nights reading books and fantasizing about the supernatural and even the normal world around her to keep her nose where it belongs. When she's not letting curiosity get the better of her, Bethany runs the local bookshop for her mother and elderly grandmother. While her mother stays home and takes care of her grandmother, Bethany spends her time at the shop making sure things are running smoothly and catching up on the latest gossip as well as newest books that have come out. It hasn't escaped her attention that there are things that have been going on around town, and though her mother has told her to mind her own business the girl can't help but to let her imagination wander. Working in a book shop has really given her the chance to do some research on the topic, and if she's not careful, she's going to find things she really doesn't want to uncover.
Saura M. Last
18, human, Ziyi Zhang, player
After the disastrous earthquake and tsunami in China, Saura and her parents relocated to Thunder Cove, wanting a life free of the devastation. Her father and mother quickly settled into the town, her father becoming one of the best fishermen in the small town and her mother helping him sell it at the market. Saura on the other hand didn't settle in so quickly. A very quiet and shy girl, soft spoken to her core, it was hard for her to make friends easily. Usually found alone, Saura is a very good target for the Seethe to have a new pet. Not that they'd kill her right away once they got her, but feeding off of her and playing with her sound much more fun. It's definitely in her future, so those late night walks alone on her way home, might not be the smartest idea she ever had.
